Fast contact-free parcel collection at more than 100 locations across Slovenia

Pošta Slovenije is continuing the planned modernisation and automation of its network. Users will now have a simple and convenient option for collecting their parcels. The existing network of 24 parcel lockers in Slovenia’s larger cities is being supplemented with 400 Direct4me smart parcel delivery boxes, which will be installed at more than 100 locations across Slovenia.

How to choose delivery to the Direct4me parcel delivery box

Send the parcel to the parcel delivery box’s address

While shopping online, choose the delivery of purchased goods to your chosen Direct4me parcel delivery box. Enter your mobile number. When the parcel is accepted into our network, you will receive an SMS message about the collection of your package.

Some retailers do not yet offer delivery to Direct4me parcel delivery boxes. If that’s the case and you still want your package delivered to a parcel delivery box, enter the parcel delivery box’s address:

Collecting parcels from the Direct4.me parcel delivery box

You will receive an SMS message, email or Direct4.me application notification about the delivery of your parcel to the parcel delivery box.

Re-route your parcel to the parcel delivery box

When a parcel is accepted into the Pošta Slovenije network, you will receive an SMS message or email with a link to the My Delivery, My Choice online application, where you can select the option Delivery to Direct4.me parcel delivery box.

Open the parcel delivery box with the mobile application

Search for your shipment in the mobile app and click on the button to open the parcel delivery box.

The process of unlocking the delivery box is activated automatically.

After clicking on the button to open the parcel delivery box, scan the QR code on the delivery box screen.

When the QR code has been scanned, an audio or NFC signal will be broadcast. Move your phone towards the lock, which will detect the proximity of a mobile device (the green light on the control panel will start to flash). If you use an NFC key, orient your phone so that the back of the phone faces the parcel delivery box.

After the audio or NFC signal is detected the lock will release automatically and the delivery box door will open.
Remove your parcel from the delivery box and close the delivery box door. If you are unable to open the delivery box door, you can request a new key within the next 15 minutes.

Open the parcel delivery box with a phone call

Call the number you received in the SMS message and follow the instructions.

Move your phone towards the lock, which will detect the proximity of a mobile device (the green light on the control panel will start to flash).

An audio signal will be broadcast to release the lock.
After the audio signal is detected the lock will release automatically and the delivery box door will open.
Remove your parcel from the delivery box and close the delivery box door.
You will automatically receive an SMS message upon the use of the Direct4.me service. If you are unable to open the parcel delivery box, respond to the message using the keyword PONOVNO (repeat), and the delivery box number displayed on the delivery box screen.

Authorise a third party to collect your parcel

If you would like someone else to pick up your parcel, you can authorise them for one-time access to a parcel delivery box.

Maximum parcel dimensions are 45 cm x 25 cm x 20 cm.

You can pick up your parcel from the Direct4.me parcel delivery box within 72 hours, and after that you have another five days to pick up the parcel at the post office.
