<i><font size="1" face="ApexNew-BookItalic"><font size="1" face="ApexNew-BookItalic"><p align="left">This is the third time that Pošta Slovenije has joined the ranks of postal operators in other countries that issue scouts stamps. This year’s issue has been released at</p><p>a time when the Slovenian Scouts Association (ZTS), <i><font size="1" face="ApexNew-BookItalic"><font size="1" face="ApexNew-BookItalic">which has been a member of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) since 1994, is preparing</p><p align="left">to host two major international events&#58; the 40th World Scout Conference in Ljubljana and the 12th World Scout Youth Forum at Rogla.</p><p align="left">&#160;</p><p align="left">The World Scout Movement was established in the early twentieth century (1907), when a tendency emerged towards educating young people to reconnect with life outdoors. The movement spread quickly and significantly, and now includes more than 40 million active members from 164 countries. </p><p align="left">&#160;</p><p align="left">Since its establishment in 1951, the ZTS has been taking part in completing this movement’s mission&#58; to contribute to the personal growth of young people by using special work methods and a special system of values, such as tolerance, solidarity, freedom, a healthy lifestyle, creativity, volunteering, friendship and honesty. </p><p align="left">&#160;</p><p align="left">The stamp shows how scouts develop diverse outdoor activities which are appealing to young people. But the main point is hidden in the background&#58; it is about shaping a relationship towards everything around us that guides our behaviour. Young people are key to Slovenia’s future.
